Since we only have the one sporty game, only need the one controller that came with the system. So this one just kind of sits and charges. Feels good in the hands, appears to hold the charge well and looks ready to go once my sporty son makes a friend.

We’ve purchased the knock-offs with little success. This one can be slammed into the couch but I don’t recommend throwing it at the wall. I cleaned out my son’s savings but his future is in gaming.

Good, But Pricey

Unlike the original introduced well into the lifecycle of the first PlayStation, this controller is wireless and includes a small touchpad. However, it costs almost 2 1/2 times as much. These days most multiplayer gaming involves one person per console and a network connection. However, if I want to play Little Big Planet wit my three kids, I need to pay $180+tax for the controllers. That's quite an investment. It's a comfortable, well-built, and well-designed controller...but it comes at a significant price.
