Great controller, poor quality control

The main DS4v2 I got with my PS4 slim lasted over 6 years at this point without any issues, so I'm disappointed.

Inconsistent build quality

Compared to my older DS4 this one is extremely flimsy and has noticeable gaps where the top and the bottom half of the controller meet. squeezing the controller even slightly also produces a crackling sound. Sony support is a joke. the expect you to pay for the shipping fees to return for service which are nearly half the cost of a new controller.

Great, could be better

The buttons are both equally responsive but the PS4 controller definitely has the better D-pad. My main gripe is that I like how you grip or rest the Xbox controller with your palms and not your fingers. Ps4 controller does make my hands grow weary after a long session. I do now use my PS4 controller for some of my PC gaming.

Awesome design

And finally, this blue along with the red camos came out. Now I have a complete set of all camo controllers. The only issue is unlike the controller in the original ps4 box, these always have trouble after about 6 months later and typically don't last more than 12 months.

Very Nostalgic feel!

I love the new touch pad design that has a slt near the top that allows you to peer through and see what color your controller is glowing from a top view.

Maybe this has a second generation setup inside. Love it though.
