Much improved from initial batch.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had my PS4 and first Dualshock 4 controller since the release more than two years ago. I just opened the new controller and messed with it for a few minutes and can already tell they have drastically improved the durability of it. The biggest improvement is the analog stick rubber. The left stick on my original has two tears on the rubber. The new controller feels like the rubber is thicker or of a higher quality. The controller also just feels sturdier than my original, which creaks during intense gaming sessions.

New red is best red.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the minor updates to the controllers so I had to pick them up. first off the undersides of the new controllers are nearly the same color as the top. this is a change from them just being black. second the light slit in the touch pad is a nice touch. you can honestly tell now that your controller is active without having to flip it over. now I'm sure there is some other internal improvements but as far as i can tell this baby operates exactly the same as the original models (pre light slit).
