Prepare to replace the thumbsticks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The thumbsticks on all of the DS4s have a strange rubber that you can literally feel coming off on your fingers as you play. After so long, the rubber gets much thinner and will literally start to tear off. I own a day one controller and bought a spare one a few months later and both had the same issue within a month of owning them, and I don't even play games as much as the average gamer. If you have an issue, contact Sony. Do not wait to do this, as the warranty is only covered for one year. They will send you a new controller if you RMA an old one with them, so the Sony support seems to be alright. I just wish they would use a better rubber on those thumbsticks.
