Great value if...

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review....if fortnite is life & you need a new controller then this is a no-brainer. With that in mind, one star off because it's just a plain, black controller. Nothing fortnite about it. So if you need a need fortnite skin & back bling in your life + your current controller is creaking & cracking then go for it. Also just fyi this is a popular skin so you'll see a lot of other players with it (as opposed to the royal bomber + controller pack they had before which I've only seen 1 other player sport).

One of the Best Controllers I've Played With

The joysticks will never slip off like before and the grips feel amazing. The light is cool and changes depending on the game, i.e. in Killzone it's color matches with your health gauge. However, it does suffer with a weaker battery life than the Dualshock 3. All in all, amazing controller Sony!

This "2nd gen" version has more texture on the joy sticks which definitely gave it more grip and what felt like better control.
