Great controller for PS4

I'm rarely one to purchase the extended protection coverage, but I recommend getting the two year geek squad coverage for this one. Some of the buttons don't last well with the stress of play. I don't know of any better quality controller; looks like something that you just have to live with. The extra coverage on this one is two years, and the controller we replaced did not last quite that long.

Everyone needs a controller right?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So, I have a two gamer household and as a result need at least one more controller. Thus here we are. What I like about the PS4 controllers is they tend to work well with the console. The touch-pad takes some getting used to, but is not necessary for usage or game-play. The controller is a bit bigger than previous models, so it might take some time adjusting to the grip if you're used to the PS3 controller. All in all though it is a nice piece of equipment and holds the charge for about 8-10 hrs of usage for movies and about 4-6 hrs of continuous gaming.

Awesome controller

However, I don't like the lightbar on the bottom of the controller. I use the controller to play Witcher 3 on my PC. The lightbar will change depending on which sword I am using. And will turn red if my health is low, which is awesome. Unfortunately, the lightbar on the bottom of the unit reflects on my monitor. But, I found a solution. You can purchase a sticker that covers the lightbar on the bottom of the controller. Overall, awesome controller. works fantastic
