In addition to the 2 ps4s I purchased (2 years a part) I bought each an extra controller. They’ve held up very well and holds a charge even after 2 years. I do maintain them by making the kids wash their hands if they snacked and also running the battery completely dead every so often and then recharging. Great controllers, comfortable for small 6 year old hands, and high quality.

I bought this controller when I bought my PS4 and it works great. A few things I like about the PS4 controller are: - The touch pad where the Start and Select buttons used to be. It's a cool idea and it's actually functional. - The width of the controller. The Dualshock 4 is a little bit wider than the Dualshock 3, which makes it more comfortable to hold, in my opinion - The joysticks have a ridge now that helps you grip them. A small change that helps a lot. This is probably my favorite version of Dualshock controller to date, which makes sense, because the PS4 has turned out to be my favorite version of PlayStation. As far as battery life is concerned, my PS4 controllers seem to last around 8-9 hours on a full charge. If you're a serious gamer and frequently play for long periods of time, it would probably benefit you to have an extra long charging cable or a second controller on deck so you can swap it out without hassle when the battery is almost dead.

My son was needing a new controller for his PS4 he had looked at controllers never bought one for his birthday I purchased the dual controller and he is very happy with it. I always say I can find what I want at Best Buy at a great price even better when I use my reward.
