This ps4 controller feels great in your hands and has excellent ergonomics. The battery life is sufficient for many extended gaming sessions. The inclusion of a touch pad is really cool, as it opens up new ways to browse menus and interact with games. My favorite feature about this controller is the inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is easy to connect a set of earbuds to this wireless controller to not disturb my family while gaming or watching movies at night.

Methinks this website was snooping around my personal browsing history because right after buying a used PlayStation Classic and 8-Bit-Do Bluetooth adapter for it, this controller popped up in my feed and on sale! There were so many colors to choose from and before I knew it, was in my hands, allowing me to play my hacked (oopsies?) PSClassic with its hundred-and-something games. This is necessary because the controllers bundled with the 'console' were phase one controllers without analog sticks which are phenomenally better than using D-pad in some games for the fluid control. That, and of course, the wireless capability allowing someone like me to sit on the other side of a room to play, not mere feet away and ruining my eyesight. Pairing up was and still is effortless. The only thing I'm not too thrilled with is at some point Sony traded the traditional Start and Select buttons with Options and Share. As an old school gamer (newest authentic console I own is a PS2) this took a minute getting used to. The oldies are well known for prompting players to hit Start or Select so you can understand the confusion and I'm not alone on this. Battery life yet has to be put through a torture test. Gaming sessions for me are several months apart so this tends to die from inactivity. Thanks to modern tech I can charge this with almost anything with a 1000 mA output, whether it's a socket adapter or even a battery bank!

Love the controller. Seems to have less battery life than original PlayStation controller. But definitely a great color and great feel. Only problem is I’m upset I was not offered the geek squad protection plan by anyone in the store. I had to purchase a second controller because Best Buy did not offer me a geek squad plan for my last controller and it broke and they refused to repair it.

The controller worked well. All 3 Grandsons wanted this red colored one.

It works as described, connects to my PS4 as it should. It’s black and has buttons. All the buttons work. Who could ask for anything more

I just recently bought my kids the PS4. And since it only comes with one controller I needed to buy two, cause I have three boys. My second youngest boy chose the color Glacier White. This review is for his controller. He loves his controller. I used it and compared it to the previous PS3, there is a big difference in them. The PS4 is much sleeker and it just feels different. Having played with the PS3 controller and now the PS4 I must say I love how the PS4 controller feels.

I have definitely seen multiple improvements with this new PS4 controllers! I love that the controller feels rugged, has a longer battery life and has a better grip. Now I've got to pick up another one!

Just another PS4 controller. The performance and quality good. I was surprised that it doesn't get as dirty as I thought it would because of the color.

After buying the PS4 for my kids, we went for the 2nd controller, so they can have each their own. My daughter white, my boy black. I'm happy having doing so, because the control works perfectly and they can play together.

No seriously. Great device. You must purchase more of them if you want to have any couch co-op gaming sessions. But... It works nice with a PC too, with some adjustments. Highly recommended.
