Yes, it's a controller, the same one you get with the system - and you need it if you want to play with a friend at home or for when the other one is charging - that's it!!!

My daughter loves this remote, great quality, had purchased one for my nephews last year and still use it, and they use it on a daily basis, so as you can tell it's durable.

I was able to find a price match, which made this one the cheapest. Since it's blue instead of black, it's easy to discern it as my player two controller.

Great controller for Playstation 4. Has a nice design and gives you a more customized look from the basic controller. Great if you take it anywhere and don't want to mix it up with anyone else.

Son was a little crazy and pulled apart his other controller so I got a replacement for him. I have had this type of controlelr for a few years and works [pretty well.

Christmas gift for my son who is hard on these controllers. But, it’s smooth and fits in most hands comfortably.

Although there are other manufacturers who make PS4 compatible controllers, stick with the ones made by Sony. They are sturdy, responsive, and have a good feel to them.

It's a PS4 controller. -wireless -red -works good -no problems yet.
