Their units always seem to go batty after warranty runs out. I would then go buy the next best unit and the same thing would happen. I tried extenders by Netgear as well and they never worked as advertised! Very frustrating! We have a 5,000 sq ft home and upwards of 18-22 devices at any given time. I went with the 3 pods by Google and am extremely happy. We have had no dropouts and no need to reboot an iPad or buffering issues with HD streaming, etc.... It's never been better! Extremely easy to set up through the Apple app or android. GO FOR IT!

I would recommend the protection plan though if you are the ragey type of gamer...
