I've had some bad luck with third party controllers. But Sony branded Dual Shock 4 controllers are responsive, comfortable, and have a decent battery life. And I love the red.

I’ve had the controller for more than a week so far. Before this I have been using the elite and elite 2 controllers for years. First the hall effect sticks are everything I’ve ever wanted. So precise I didn’t realize how out of spec my old controller was. I set the stick dead zone to zero on both sticks and no problem, it snaps back to the exact center and no matter how hard I try I can get the targeting icon to stay put if the stick is moved all tall. I’ve tried used multiple games calibration as well as the system ones for the elite controller, always the same result. Compared to my elite 2 controller that is back from service about 3 months ago, there were spots on the calibrators at level 10 that the stick would register as center.

Bought an additional controller with my PS4 today. Controller is great, sound built right in makes you feel like your in the game. Comfortable in hand, and easy to navigate the controls.

Its a controller, feels nice and it works as it should. Plus the different color options is nice

Bought 3 of these on black Friday sale to allow my son & his friends to do split-screen couch play. From previous experience I will always buy new, and buy Sony/original controllers for the PS systems. They are much better built and perform much better than the cheap knockoffs that are half the price. The frustration, especially on first-person shooter games is just not worth the savings on buying a knockoffs. Slightly different feel than the previous DualShock 3 controllers but you get used to it very quickly. Also, you can use these with a PS3 and they will work with a lot of those games as well if you need to replace and old DualShock 3 and know that you'll be upgrading to a PS4 in the near future.

The batteries in my old PS4 controllers are nearing the end of their life, so I’ve been watching the prices on these for a while. I love the blue camouflage design (wish that I got two). Connects seamlessly with my PS4. Love it! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an additional controller. Other reviews state that these have a better battery life than previous versions. I can’t confirm that at this time.

My husband purchased this controller with a gift card after Christmas and he loves it. Easy to use and I really like the color of it.

Love the feel and ability of this controller. Fits perfectly in your hand and allows you to really dominate the competition when it comes to playing against other people.

Good controller, easy for anyone to pick up and learn how to use it quickly. Also, good durability for smashing it against the wall when you die in call of duty. Would recommend to anyone!

This controller has been upgraded! The lighting now shows through to the touch pad (my original that came with the system did not). Great tactile function on the grips and overall, solid.

I bought this controller that way I can play with my friend. The PS4 comes with only one so you'll need to buy yourself an extra one. To me it well worth it. It's pretty identical to the one in PS4 box.

I have never had any problems with Dualshock products. Love love that it was on sale. My best black friday purchase by a landslide! Cool how the light changes colors. Battery life seems great so far.

Don't know what it is about this controller, but I LOVE USING IT. Top quality! Seems to fit in hand better than standard controller (although I have no issue with the standard one).
