Pretty much the same great controller

The new lower triggers are now concave so your fingers stay on them. The new thumb sticks have a litte ridge to keep your thumbs on them. I never had these problems before but they seem to help some people. There's three new buttons which was a little confusing at first, but you get used to it. And the big touch pad button can be awkward to push, luckily it's not used very often in game.

There was a promo running for 25% off accessories when I purchased my PS4. It's not as simple a pairing process as with the PS3 but still a solid unit
