It plays my child's dvds just fine. Picture quality is ok, but nothing special. This was the last of my store's total dvd stock so I did not have much of a choice. But it does the job. I would recommend it for families as a backup model or for the children's playroom.

Black Sony DVD player

I cannot speak to the DVD quality, but it does the job for CD listening. Comes with a remote, but be careful around other Sony equipment, i found that the remote also works on my Sony soundbar lol.

No HDMI connection, but did not matter, as the RCA cable provided works fine. Wish it had a "power on" light indicator on the front so I could confirm that I turned it off, but not a problem.
