I bought this because we went on vacation and the cottage boasted a large flat screen tv and cable. I was expecting a player to be available and my kids were looking forward to a movie night on a rainy day. Well, with no DVD player in the cottage, I ran to Best Buy near the cottage and picked this up and it worked beautifully and the price didn't strain our vacation budget!

I purchased this Sony DVD player to replace my old DVD player that quit working. The price is not much for the entertainment value. It even has a remote that works much better than my old DVD player. I shop at Best Buy for all my electronic items that they sell. It is one of my favorite stores.

Works very good. You can stop playing dvd put a couple of different one in and go back to the first dvd that you started with and it will remember where you left off. as long as you do not press the stop button twice or more. You can leave the dvd in and turn it off then turn it back on and press play and it start where you left off.

Shows a clear picture and it's easy to use. I'm not a big techie so it works great for me.

I received as a gift a three-set video of the GREAT NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS 2015 MARCH TO CHAMPIONSHIP. As I have two homes, I found myself in the home lacking a DVD Player. So I went to OLD RELIABLE BestBuy.com and found exactly what I wanted – a REASONABLY PRICED NAME BRAND UNIT. It works perfect. I have enjoyed watching this classic and look forward to watching the 2017 version!

DVD work perfect to replace the dvd player in her tv. Very small and easy to use.

I haven't used it yet as it is not hooked up as yet, but it is good to be able to get a plain DVD player instead of a Blue ray/DVD player combo, because when one side dies the other side does too. It may be going out of fashion, but I like my own DVD's to play when I wish and not paying for streaming. I'm old fashioned-I like to own the CD's, DVD's, Books that I enjoy over and over.

If you're looking for a simple, easy to use DVD player with great picture quality, you can't go wrong with this Sony player. I do, however, wish I would have bought a Blu-Ray player instead, just because they offer superior picture, sound, and connectivity.
