Basic, but it does the job. We don’t watch a lot of DVDs. For additional savings I went with open box, and it’s working fine.

This is my second DVD player. Gave the old one to my daughter for her videos. Great no nonsence player. I still have dvd's that we love to play instead of searching through apps. Just me

I bought this to play a dvd over and over again for hours on end at my children's clothing store. The best part for me was easy set up -- not a million screes to navagate through before it works. AND it turns on when the power goes on in the building and just auto plays. perfect!

I just wanted a simple DVD player for some movies I have that aren’t available on digital so I just wanted fairly expensive just dvd and this one was perfect. You don’t even need the instructions to set it up.

Great DVD player for regular dvd's. If you want to make your TV a smart TV with a DVD player this isn't the DVD player you want. This was for an 8 year old child for playing regular not blue ray dvd's. It operates great. It has a lot of the additional features as a timer, remote, volume control. I would definitely recommend this DVD player

I bought this just to play CDs rather than as an actual DVD player. It's hooked up to my audio receiver and works just fine. The price point was good for what I needed.

As basic as basic is when it comes to DVD players. BB does carry a cheaper Insignia DVD player but the salesman steered me way from it because it wasn't as sturdy as the Sony. Doubt he cared to get the extra $6 or $8 out of me and was simply being straight. Looks great on my new TV! If it lasts 2 or 3 years I'll be happy...
