I only tried this out to play cds, which is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. Bought it to have, in case my cd changer goes out. Hooked it up to the stereo speakers and receiver and it works great. Didn't need an expensive player.

This is a nice, inexpensive DVD player that works well.

Easy to use and I love the sleek design. Only thing I don’t like is how hard it is to pick the buttons on the player, but it’s not too bothersome and plus the remote works perfectly.

I bought this to replace a 15 yr old DVD player to use in my basement for workout videos. The set up was easy. It is nice and compact in size. I have noticed some background noise/static when the DVD's are playing but I am not sure if it is the DVD player or because the DVD's are about 2 years old?

Good unit. Nice look. Works well. It goes nicely with our tv.

This is the second one of these we have purchased. The previous one we had started not to work after about 7 or 8 years. The new one works well and does everything we want it to. Would recommend.

It is good. However, the response time for turning it on, opening the disc slot, getting it to play, takes longer than it should. I had the old model for 10 years and it was much faster. Do like the sleek design.

Bought this dvd player as an “open box” deal. It worked without a problem . The remote worked flawless with the unit. No complaints!

Sony always puts out a great product and this DVD PLAYER is right up to SONY'S RELIABLE products standard. For the price you can't go wrong. It delivers just the way the instructions explain. I am totally happy with this purchase.

I’ve Been using this on and off for years since I bought it in 2017 Still works just fine and the price was right ..and was easy to set up with my tv...I have misplaced the remote and am not that tech savvy but I don’t mind getting up to do the basic start , pause and stops .

It does exactly what it's supposed to do, it plays dvds. Nothing fancy but it feels solid. On the downside the control buttons on the unit don't have a feel as good as other Sony products I have or have had but the remote is fine.
