I got this to use w/ my computer audio. Mostly listen to computer as source, but also wanted to play CD. This was bought as a 'transport', meaning just to spin disk and pickup signal, as the digital processing would be handled by and outboard DAC. (a modified DACMagic) So the number one reason to purchase, was it had a digital out jack. Plus it was cheap. But cheap also means it quit working after 2 months. Will have to print receipt and try to get local store to replace. But when it worked it was fine for my use. I can't comment on the sound of a typical owner as I bypassed the internal DAC and output amp. No front level display, but supposed to be used w/ TV, not just for audio.

I always try to purchase Sony products when possible because of their quality and durability. This didn't disappoint either. This was actually a gift for someone and since I prefer Sony I wanted to gift their quality to someone. Easy hookup, very sleek and takes up very little space. Nice picture quality.

This DVD player works great and it's size is perfect for any room or for leaving room. It works great for any kids movie. I love it.

Cannot go wrong with this player. Sony of course makes quality products and it's light and hardly takes up space. It sometimes seems like there is an issue when powering it on with the included remote. It takes a few tries sometimes it seems.

Just needed a player for the bedroom. The TV there has no HDMI input, so this player fits the bill. It has both component and composite outputs, so it may be good for todays TVs which may have only one or the other. The remote can be programmed to control TV power, input and volume. Works well. There are only four buttons on the unit itself, power, play, stop, and eject. The buttons are thin and almost flush with the unit, so they are a little hard to use. Other than that, it works well.

I like to stick to SONY, like I have in the past. They are long lasting and reliable. My previous DVD player lasted some 25+ yrs. But were quite different back then. And I have noticed now that they come so much smaller and compact like everything else. But I guess, as long as they function well, that's all that matters.

Just needed a player for DVD movies to replace an older one. Install was easy and the DVDs play seamlessly. Playback seems sharper on this than my old one.

So far it works as it should. Price was great but instructions was a little vague.

Good picture, easy to use remote and price was good.

This is our 2nd DVPSR210P. Like the first one it performs flawlessly. They last about 2.5 years with HEAVY USE. Given the very low price it's a very good deal.
