the price is reasonable and has great sound when watching tv shows movies.

I absolutely think it is a marvelous DVD player. I like SONY products anyway. But the fact that my dad is pleased; is what it is all about.

I'm not sure why this is so highly rated here. Bought mine at Best Buy because I'd read reviews on another site that complained of early failure. I figured at least it would be easier to return locally. True to form at 2 months it would quit playing both DVD-RW and commercial DVDs. No message, the screen goes black. Since it was still under warranty I was able to sent it back to Sony at my expense. Plugged in the so called fixed one they sent back and 10 minutes into the commercial DVD it quit and of course wouldn't play my finalyzed dvd-rw. At $!10a pop to ship, it isn't worth it.

I bought this DVD player primarily for my children to use. It has easy to use controls. It plays movies and music CD's.

This is the Ty Cobb of DVD players, a great all-rounder. It fast forwards like he ran bases, the rewind is similar to his fielding abilities and it plays like he hit out of the park.

The DVD player comes with AV cables, no HDMI & my TV does not have an AV connection port. So I haven't used it.

The DVD Player was great. I had a problem setting it up and called the GEEK Squad for assistance. The Geek squad said it would cost me $180.00. That's outrageous.

Great DVD player for the price. Bought for my 7 year old granddaughter, she has no problem operating it.

If you just need a basic DVD player that plays DVD's, this is the one for you! There's nothing fancy about it, but that's okay! It plays well and even saves your spot, even if you take the DVD out! One feature we love is the fast fwd and rewind buttons on the remote- very nice to have!

This was for the grandkids from their mommy,,,It was very easy for her to hookup and the kids love it.

We use this player with a Dynex 32 TV as a door prise and give a way. Winners are always impressed.

Totally worth the money : ) Great value. Loved being able to order online and pick up at the store!
