The instructions were a bit confusing and the remote buttons are not clear as to their function. Once you figure it out it works very well. The picture quality is very good..

Plays DVD fine - that was the purpose. Also plays audio CDs fine. Functional, not luxury.

This is the best option you'll find when it comes to getting a good hd quality pictures from the traditional AVI cables. It's light, small and delivers in all aspects. Bought it on special and I'm happy with my purchase.

I purchased a new Sony HD TV and needed a small DVD player to go with it. I've been so pleased with Sony products that I just looked for a player that matched the TV. So far, everything is going great and I'm enjoying watching movies with my new DVD player.

This player brings light and high resolution viewing to my DVD movies. With my old player, dark scenes were so dark that I could not see what was happening. Now I can see all that I missed plus the color is much more vivid. The HDMI cable connection makes a huge difference. It was easy to set up. Well worth the money.
