I have own Sony products in the past, tv's stereos and vhs players! I've always had excellent luck with them. I really didn't think I could go wrong with Sony again! And I was correct, it was easy to set up and easy to use. I would highly recommend it.

I needed to replace the cd function in my Bose radio. This player was an excellent choice. It is small and compact has a remote control an sits on top of My Bose. It was far less expensive than have the cd in the Bose repaired.

Unit is very compact and fits nicely in the 2.5 inch space between my television set and stand top. Approximately 21 months worth of moderate use and haven't experienced any problems. Very happy with purchase.

There’s only so much to say about such a simple device. It’s plays DVDs. The upscaling is subtle but effective.

We love this - and own two of them! We ordered this through our Geek Squad rep and it was brought to us along with some other items we purchased and the Geek Squad installed for us.

We have very basic tv service and enjoy watching an occasional dvd. This is very easy to hook up to our tv and works very well. We are happy with the product.

Bought this even though my other was still kind of new because the other one made really annoying bad noises, this one doesn't do anything wrong, bought my brother in law one too, thinking about getting another for the porch. Works great!

This DVD player is exactly what I was looking for. It had both a spot for HDMI and a for video and audio cables. I really like that the actual machine had all the controls on it in the case that my kids misplace the remote. I find to many models that require the remote to fast forward and rewind.

Purchased for a church Bible study. We used it with a new projector and it ran great.

the pics produced by this unit come very close indeed to high def models and it read any source that I threw at it......... all in all was very impressed with it and at a very economical price........... cant go WRONG with this Unit!!

The price was ridiculously low - $29 I think. Easy to set up and plays CDs with no problem However, we are now having trouble with Netflix and Hulu. We are going to call the Geek Squad to see if anyone knows if this CD player is the problem. Maybe it doesn't like out TV!

For the price I paid for this DVD Player it is so worth it in my eyes. Easy to use with all my DVD's and not so complicated that this Grandma could use with ease. Its wonderful.

No bells, no whistles, just a player, just what I wanted and works well.

This is an outstanding, no frills DVD player. It only plays standard, non Blue-Ray DVDs but effectively upconverts the image to near HD quality. Works perfectly. Have had zero problems with this excellent unit.

Working fine. Buttons smaller than average. Easier to use remote.

Easy to set up and use. Glad to have it when internet goes down!
