It works well with a TV, but as a CD player, I miss the digital read out as old CD players had. The buttons are tiny but I guess you are expected to use the remote for all functions.

if your looking for a name brand dvd player then youve found the perfect one. it doesnt do anything special. but it does play dvds and has an hdmi and rca out. i recommend for people who happen to be needing a basic dvd player, other than that you could easily pass this up.

Once I learned how to use it, it was great. I did as was told and it did not work. My son called to hear how we were doing. I told him ,no good. He said what do and then it came right on. Great sound and picture.

This DVD player was for my (elderly) mother, so it needed to be simple and effective -- luckily, it's just that! She's able to watch movies, and I'm not getting phone calls asking for help finding the right buttons.

I'm pretty satisfied with the DVD player on such price. Quality of the DVD actually improved a lot using HDMI on my smart TV. Just don't forget to buy an adapter if you don't have one as it doesn't come with it.

Its a good dvd player, for the price you cant beat it woth a stick.

We got this for a vacation rental. We wanted something inexpensive and slender in design. This fit the need nicely. Dont; throw the remote in the recycling center like I did LOL

As long as you make sure to get the correct horde to plug this into your high def television, you will definitely get your money's worth! Crisp, clear picture and sound.

DVD Player works great! Only thing for a new owner, make sure you push and hold power button to turn on. At first, I thought it didn't work do to the push and hold.

I bought this because my daughter got me a dvd for Christmas and I can't find the power cord for the dvd player I currently have. There is nothing special with this unit but it plays dvds like it is supposed to. It feels a bit cheap like it is going to break but so far so good. If you are looking for a no-frills dvd player this one should work for you.

I needed a DvD player for my downstairs. I like the quality of the movies and it's simple and easy to used. I haven't had any issues and I think this was a great purchase.

I bought this Sony DVD player to go with the 50 inch Samsung Smart TV I bought for my sister. She loves it. For $49 and the Sony name, I thought I would give it a shot. Great DVD player so far!

Great little DVD player. I haven't used all the functions but setup was a piece of cake. I had to use the volume button trick to get the source screen off the TV, but easy and all good.

very simple and easy to use. would be nice if there was a similar simplistic multi disc changer rather than just this single disc in the same price and performance range
