This is the best DVD player I ever owned. The picture and sound is a lot more sharper than the standard DVD's I used to have.

While inexpensive as DVD players go, this item is quite sufficient for normal DVDs. Our other player was less expensive and died after a couple of years. This is small and portable, which is useful too.

Great performance even though it is a basic DVD player. Picture quality is really nice. You can't beat the price-quality combo.

This DVD player is great for viewing home recorded DVDs as it's not picky about what disk you put into it. Also produces very clear picture and great sound with just about any TV.

Put in the disc thingy in the tray and it shows moving pictures on the telly box over in the corner of the room rele good.

I was skeptical about up version, but I can tell a difference with the picture quality. Still not as good as HD, but better than my old DVD player without upversion. And pretty good price point.

Excellent product, easy to hookup to new flat screen TVs

It's been a while since I've seen my dvd's. But with my new DVD player I can watch all day long. And it upgrades colors so the movies are better.

I’m pretty hard on my DVD players and replace them every couple years. This one is a step up so I’m sure it will serve me for a while.

Picked this up as an open box deal, needed just a basic DVD player in a spare room. It works as intended, nothing special.

I bought this Sony to replace a cheaper brand that had started acting up. It seems to be better quality and works effortlessly. Inexpensive , basic dvd player that is plus and play.

This dvd is small and works great. It was easy to hook up and the set up was automatically done when prompted.

Not top of the line but that would cost much more. Quite satisfactory for what it costs. No complaints here. Would be nice if it did blue ray too though.

Ended a new DVD player to go with the new receiver.

We purchased this DVD player as my XBOX ONE was having troubles playing certain DVDs. Therefore, the DVD player did exactly as we expected and the picture and sound is good also.

I bought a new one and open box of the same item. To different purposes. One was just for my AVR to play cds. One was for playing DVDs at different location. The open box item was missing the remote and I needed that for switching tracks on CDs. I’d pass on the open box because Best Buy wanted me to purchase a separate remote.
