Purchased because uhd blu-ray wouldn't play some older movies. Nice dvd player less substantial than my other components.

The Sony - DVD Player with HD Up conversion works really good for what I wanted it to do. My wife needed a DVD player in her art room to view instructional videos on art projects. This DVD player is just what she needed. The player was easy to set up and use. The quality of the video picture is great. This is a nice DVD player at an affordable price.

The DVD player is very small. You have to control it with the remote as there are very few controls on the device itself. It's slow to respond when powering on. It does work well as a player other than that.

I spotted this DVD player on the Best Buy website. It was a new, open-box Sony DVD player in excellent condition for $20.99. With my $5 Best Buy coupon, I could not pass it up! Very happy with how easy it was to set up and how well it plays...this was a great deal!

This is great inexpensive DVD player that was easy to set up and use. The controller looks complicated with all the buttons on it but it's easy to use. Well worth the purchase cost!

I was afraid that DVD players might no longer be available! But I had two models to pick from. I took the one that was $10 more but it would work with an old TV set that did have HML 1 and HML 2. The salesman explained the features to me and my neighbor installed it. It's working just fine.
