Needed a DVD player with HDMI output. Upconversion is a plus, and price was right.

I purchased this dvd player for my one reason only-I needed one that would play continuously, and this one is the one I found when I did a google search! It was very easy to set up, and it did, indeed, play continuously from the moment it was on, until I turned it off. We put it in our camper, and when we were in Yellowstone for a week, our dogs were able to hear the sounds of the dvd playing while we were gone, and always happy when we returned! Happy dogs, happy vacation!!

I bought this DVD Player to play CD's, but also wanted it to play old recorded DVD's that I have. I chose that one because of its HDMI output. Picture quality is indeed good maybe better than others, but, it would not play DVD's that were recorded in other zones (didn't even know that was still a restriction). For my purposes it was partially useless and I returned the item. I bought an LG instead that only has analog outputs but I'm super happy with it, it plays anything and is cheaper. For reference - LG-DP132.

So far this is a great dvd/cd player for the price! It sounds real good! It is little so it will fit anywhere that fits your needs.

Easy to setup and use. Low profile that allows it to fit right under the tv.

I purchased this DVD player and have not any issues. Pleased with ease of set up and quality of picture. I have found Sony products to be the best.
