I bought this to play dvd's on it in a spare bedroom. Works great and very simple to operate.

This is a great Sony DVD player. The only thing was the instructions were a little confusing…. We prefer words rather pictures. It’s is why we gave it a 4. However, we got it done and it works nicely. Despite the instructions, we recommend this Sony DVD and is easy to use.

Using HDMI connection, the picture reproduction is great. Great value.

This is a problem solver for my 86 year old father. Of course his combo DVD VHS machine would not work with the new TV he purchased. Fortunately I was able to talk him out of his tapes and set him up with this unit. I was willing to spend more if needed but this machine did the trick, Upconverted his old DVDs and made them look good on the big screen. Thanks!

Very easy to set up and it works perfectly. Just unpacked it, plugged it in, connected the HDMI cable and it worked. I bought a cheaper, LC DVD player from another store and it would not connect to my Sony tv. I ordered an adapter and it still wouldn’t connect. I returned everything and went to Best Buy. I shoulda known

This DVD player is easy to install and easy to use. The remote works fine.

We bought this to replace an older DVD player. The HDMI connection to our TV eliminated 4 cables and a box. The video and sound quality are just as good as the old connections.

This Sony DVD player is nice, compact and plays DVD's fine.The HD upconversion also works well. I like it.

I had to get a new DVD player when I purchased a new Smart TV with HDMI connection. This Sony DVD did the job at a very reasonable price. My previous DVD player was a Sony which I loved so I stuck with Sony. Definitely recommend.
