Product was easy to connect to my new tv. I would have given 5 stars if the hdmi cord had been included with the DVD player. I had to make a 2nd trip to the store to get started with my DVD viewing. The additional purchase of the hdmi cord made this reasonably priced item a less than perfect purchase.

This DVD player is perfect in all respects: excellent brand (Sony), lightweight, light price, and easy to set up. The remote control is an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this DVD player for anyone who doesn't need/want a bunch of equipment on their TV stand to watch their DVDs, but still expects a quality picture and sound.
