New DVD player works with my old TV set

But I had two models to pick from. I took the one that was $10 more but it would work with an old TV set that did have HML 1 and HML 2. The salesman explained the features to me and my neighbor installed it. It's working just fine.

DVD arrived early and worked perfectly.

But this little DVD player fit in a tight space and was simple to install. Right on schedule the old one's tray ejector motor began to die. This new one should last about 2 years as well but right now, works perfectly.

You can stop it, power off, & pick up where you left off. A good value! AND - it has buttons on it if your remote craps out! Personally, I like the buttons! Many devices today depend on the remote. Take note manufacturers - we like a backup plan!

It served the purpose for a great price. I only use it to play DVDs. I think it probably does more than plays DVDS but I have not tried any other features. My other player had an indicator that let me know how many minutes had passed and what time it was. This has neither, it is very simple but I am pleased with it.

With the HDMI connection it was a snap to set up and start using immediately. I was looking for something cheap - I don't watch a lot of DVDs - and this fit the bill. It's really compact and light so I'm sure it would fit pretty much anywhere. The picture quality isn't great, but then again you can't really complain too much for under $50. It plays DVDs - that's what I bought it for. Highly recommend this unit if you don't want to spend a lot of money.
