Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went into the Pasadena, CA Best Buy to see about connecting my VHS DVD player to my Samsung 40" tv but the representative informed me that VHS are considered obsolete and the tape deteriorate and it is preferred that I only use DVD as the disks lasts longer. So I purchased the Sony DVD player which I have no complaints with.
