Product is decent. For the price it is decent. I need to press keys on the remote twice before the drawer opens or the DVR or to get a cd to play. Decent output quality. Product is hooked up to an Onkyo TR 535 AV receiver.

Its inexpensive. I purchased one for my son a few months ago. Its very light and very easy to setup because of it's HDMI port. So far it's working perfectly fine and we like it.

Always a good player... we have 3! They last for years.

Inexpensive but does the trick to play my collection of CD’s and DVD’s. I connected it to my Smart TV HDMI port which, in turn, connects to my Sound Bar. There may have been other possible configurations but I was able to do this without reading the instructions. The Sony DVD player is cheaply constructed but works just fine!

What I needed had player did not have HDMI spot this is good update all it needed was HDNI cord

It's a basic player, it's does everything you need it to do. When the player is connected to a smart tv, it seems even better. Nobody will know it's a basic player.

I love this player! I bought one a few years back for myself, now my daughter has a TV in her room so I gave the older one to her and bought a new one for myself!

I bought it for my son. He loves watching my old dvd movies.

No real complaints. Just the basic DVD player. Not sure what the upconversion does with a standard DVD on a 4K tv but it looked pretty standard. Always a Sony fan fir products. Reliable.

This is a pretty nice affordable DVD player if you don't want to upgrade to blu-ray, but have an HDTV. The upscaling looks pretty good. Not blu-ray quality obviously, but an improvement over plain DVD output.

Good DVD/BluRay Player, not a smart player so no apps which is good enough, don't need to many unnecessary WiFi devices on my network.

Bought a Star Wars Trilogy for my grandsons. Went to preview them and found my older DVD lacking. (Broken) The grandsons were coming the next day and it was late on Saturday. Fortunately I was able to purchase it at Best Buy and set it up in time.

This is a very good basic DVD player. It has the older connection system to plug in your tv. I use this player with an older tv (e.g. tv is 10 or more years old).

I bought this DVD to replace a DVD that I had for years. So, I wasn't sure if I was going to be please with this one, I am.

You know you look for something that isn't expensive and something that will survive the toddlers. This DVD player has survived 2 toddlers and still works. I would definitely recommend.

Purchaed this one for my granddaughter's smart TV. She has some favorite DVD that she looks at every few months.

Low end purchase that pays off. I purchased a Phillips dvd player 2 hours earlier and it did not play at all. This Sony was $5 more and works just fine. I would recommend this for standard simple use.

I HAVE NOT HOOKED IT UP YET BUT AM VERY EXCITED WHEN I GET SOMEONE TO DO IT FOR ME.. POPCORN AND A MOVIE. YIPPEE

I love the simplicity of this DVD player. It works well and all of my movies look great on the tv. The only downside is the cheap remote it came with. The buttons do not respond quickly or click on sometimes but it's not a huge setback.
