Sony going downhill

We are so sorry to hear that the Sony DVD player with HD Upconversion did not meet your expectations, however this unit can only play certain formats like: DVD Video, CD (CD-DA), Video CD, Super VCD, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD-R Dual Layer and many more, but it cannot play Blu-ray discs, we recommend you to go with the following models: BDP-S1700, BDP-BX370, BDP-S3700, BDP-S3500 and BDP-BX650. The slot where you place the disc does not properly grab the disck when inserted and feels very loose!!

There are no lights to indicate that the unit is on or a readout to indicate its status, e.g., playiing, stopped or paused. 2. There is no S-video output.
