We called Best Buy Insurance and a lady tried to walk us through but to no avail. It is just too complicated for us old (80 and 86) folks.

Use it for teaching which requires clip to clip. After discussing a clip it is slow moving to the next screen. Controls are awkward..

Closed caption (CC) information is not available from a cable set-top box, satellite receiver, DVD player, or Blu-ray Disc® (BD) player connected to the TV using an HDMI® cable. When using this type of connection, use the subtitle feature of the source device instead of the CC of the TV or connect the source device to the television using a component or composite video cable. CC is only supported when using an analog output that is 480i. NOTE: Using a component video connection will only work if the output setting is set to 480i. -Oscar.

We are so sorry to hear that the Sony DVD player with HD Upconversion did not meet your expectations, however this unit can only play certain formats like: DVD Video, CD (CD-DA), Video CD, Super VCD, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD-R Dual Layer and many more, but it cannot play Blu-ray discs, we recommend you to go with the following models: BDP-S1700, BDP-BX370, BDP-S3700, BDP-S3500 and BDP-BX650. If you want to play non-Bluray movies, this would be a good fit.

I hardly ever print in color and the first time I did it barely printed in yellow & informed me I was low on ink.
