Its doesnt work well, i coulnt turn it on some time

Good for what I need, to watch movies, nothing great about it

No controls to change size of picture. DVD got stuck in tray and spent an hour un-plugging and plugging it back in. Seems very basic. I bought the 6700 Blu Ray and I took the 2 year protection plan. The 6700 began to act up after a month. If I didn't have the protection plan and it was after 15 days I would have been screwed. Not a very good machine and no way to change the picture size.

The Sony DVD Player was a big disappointment. You would assume that the name Sony all the products are very good. That's not the case for this product the player would not read a DVD or CD when you try to play it.

Works as advertised. Have a new tv that our old DVD player was not compatible. This one did the trick

Hi -- I bought this DVD player yesterday (07/05/21) and returned if for a refund today (07/06/21) because it did not work. It wouldn't load (wouldn't play) the DVD, I tried several, even a brand new one still in the shrink wrap--nothing worked. This DVD is a piece of JUNK, try something else... :(

This is a very nice VCR for the price, its well built.

Sales clerk didn't show me the blue ray. Was disappointed with DVD player. I ended up back at best buy found the blue ray players, now have both! What do you do with just a dvd player now????

Bad experience. DVD player would not keep disc door closed. Not happy with Sony product.

IT WAS A GREAT IDEA, BUT THIS MACHINE DID NOT WORK WELL, AND SOMETIMES WOULD NOT SHUT OFF. SAFETY ISSUE INDUCED ME TO RETURN IT.

could not get 3 different dvd's to work do I returned it

It is not an HD player, and in my opinion it is not worth what they asking. I have an older player (same brand) that works just fine and so I purchased the upgrade expecting more. And sadly the only difference is the size!

This was the wrong machine for our capabilities. Instead of a $1700 machine our needs were met by a $700 machine. Not good.

This DVD player is just OK, it’s really tiny and really skinny and you can’t even see the power light on the front of the player, would not purchase this again, very disappointed.

Our old DVD player was old so we bought another one. This new one plays every DVD now like our old one.

DVD player hums and makes a lot of noise when playing a disc. It’s actually so much noise that you can hear it over what you’re watching. Started to do this after about 6 weeks of light use (4 hours per week).

So far so good. It replaced a dvd and tape combination that lasted for quite a few years from magnavox.

First DVD I put in wouldn't play. Said had incorrect country code? Also, control buttons are very hard to use has not much is in front of display panel.

Bought an open box item - with someone else's dvd in it. After it took several tries to get it to open, I started to think that might be why. Got to use my own dvd, but I found out it wouldn't open by the remote, and took many tries to open it by the button on the player. Returning.

The unit appears to read both pre-recorded DVD's and CD's and also burned DVD's and CD's. At this time it's doing everything I need it to do.
