Our children's playroom is used constantly for watching movies and we had purchased one DVD player that ended up breaking down within a couple of months, decided to buy a quality DVD player, and we have had no issues with the one e bought through Best Buy.

This seems to be a very good DVD player. I get movies from the library and they sometimes skip or stop. I’m pretty sure it’s the movies and not the player. Good price.

It does its job pretty well. Although it isn’t compatible with blu-ray, it does play dvds.

Works just fine, so will be buying another after January 1st as a ''back up''. I believe DVD players will go the way of the dinosaurs . Everyone is going to ''streaming'' , so they will become very hard to find !

Very neat thing, works smoothly, picture is clear, great looks. I was glad to figure out how to play some old "full-screen" DVD's without everyone looking fat. It did take me a bit of digging through the manual and options on the menu. Minus one star for it not being able to play some DVD's bought abroad. LG did that without any problem, but Sony appears to be more region-limited. But overall great value for the price.

No bells a/o whistles here; short, sweet and simply does a great job. Very happy with purchase.
