Needed a standard DVD player, and saw this one for around the same price. The upconversion works well, only complaint was that the connection cable wasn't included.

Need something small for my parents and this was a good. Worked exceptionally well and like how compact it is.

Loved my old Sony DVD player. Dvd tray stopped working. This purchase was open box and an upgrade due to HD. I thought it required new HDMI connector but it didn't.

Phenomenal machine!!! The only issue I have with this unit is when I attempt to watch my seasons of Chicago Fire, it can't Auto Resume them when I turn the machine back on. I have to press "Eject" then "Play" to reload and resume playback. But other than that, absolutely no issues or concerns with this model.

bought because of the HD option, easy set up, but the menu is somewhat confusing.

The unit did exactly what I expected; excellent value for the price paid. Best Buy shipping was quick.

So easy to set up and the price couldn't be beat anywhere. Great quality.

My LG player broke after 10 years. Got the Sony to replace it. Plugged it in the same port location, and the Sony player kept cutting in and out video. After swapping the HDMI cable from $2 one to $30 (high quality) cable, problem went away. Make sure you have good quality HDMI cable with this player.

I use this to do trainings at work. The fast play feature is very nice when time is short and we’re running behind. It’s a very nice, but basic DVD player.

The DVD player has been working well. No issues with it but it is brand new. We had been using a portable DVD player made by Sony for about 13 years until it stopped working. We shall see how long this product lasts.
