Simple player to use. Easy set up. No wifi capable use it yo watch dvd movie's and it broadcast crystal clear Use in second bedroom

DVD works well. Easy to install. Has a remote control. AA batteries not included. Was able to use right away. Happy with purchase.

We had several dvd players that either went out or would not work with our new television. One of the units we had was a sony...this one is of the same quality with a small footprint and connects to our new television.

What I really enjoyed about this player is the fact that it is so compact and slim. It takes up very little room and looks great. Super quiet compared to others I have owned. The remote is excellent and controls the TV as well.

ALL SONY PRODUCTS I HAVE OWNED HAVE WORKED VERY WELL. I AM SURE THIS ONE WOULD HAVE AS WELL. BUT! SINCE HAVE HAD NO WAY TO GET TO THE POST OFFICE TO MAI.L THE DVD PLAYER BACK TO BEST BUY BEFORE ABOUT AUGUST THE 18, OF OTHER RETAILORS ABOUT 2 DAYS LATE GIVEN THE USUAL 30 DAY RETURN POLICY . I CALLED BB AND FOUND OUT THAT THE RETURN TIME WAS 15 DAYS AT BB! KENNETH PRIEM

This DVD is easy to use and connects to TV with a HDMI cable. It has a very nice picture quality. It's not a blu Ray player. I'm very happy with it, didn't need anything fancy.

I had the same model minus the upconversion that lasted a good 10 or 15 years so i saw this was discounted open box and it seems to do everything its supposed to do, shipped fast in good packaging ☆☆☆☆☆

I purchased this DVD player to use with a bible study group. I needed one that had an HDMI port and was also HD. This DVD player met both of those needs. It is easy to hook up and the picture is great! Thanks Sony!

Very simple to operate and easy to hook up, Good quality and just the right size.

These simple basic units are getting scarce. this works very well and the price is quite reasonable. Also, quite small and takes up essentially very little shelf space.

This SONY DVD player replaced one where the DVD open/clse function failed. Our new player has much better control options for moving around the disc and controlling fast forward/reverse via the remote. Sound reproduction is also very good.

Unless you have HD 4K dvs, then you do not need the pricy HD players. For the money, this is the basic and more then enough quality to play everything.
