Bought this to travel with because when I moved I misplaced the old one. So glad I bought it. Easy to use compact size and works great

very basic player with nice clear picture and easy to use remote. Very quiet when running and great for the grandkid in the rec room

Easy to hook up, works great. Too bad it doesn't have a vhs tape player too, for us old people!

We haven't bought a new DVD player in over 16 years. We were surprised at the small size, ease of set up and use.

I don't watch DVD's much but wanted a good player. This one is great. Easy hook up, use and video quality. My only complaint and this is for all manufacturers of products with remotes. Please make the another color besides black. This one is really small and difficult to see on my black entertainment center, the dark gray couch and even the end tables. I lose it all the time and it's right in front of me! Maybe that's considered "user error"? :)

Video and photos are sharp. DVD’s and CD’s open well. Had exact same model number bought 6 years ago that started shuttering on playback of DVD’s, but that played fine on another older Sony DVD player. So tried cleaning with a good cleaner disk bought specifically for that purpose and same result. So fingers are crossed this latest model with the exact same manufacturer number is an improved version for better reliability.

The price for tge dvd player was great. The quality is great.

This is a great basic DVD player with HD upscale. I would highly recommend this DVD player to anyone looking for a basic player without to many bells and whistles.

Step up quality of old DVDs . Easy setup. Would have been 5 stars if not for the long start up time and short HDMI cord that comes with it.

The Sony - DVD Player with HD Up conversion works really good for what I wanted it to do. My wife needed a DVD player in her art room to view instructional videos on art projects. This DVD player is just what she needed. The player was easy to set up and use. The quality of the video picture is great. This is a nice DVD player at an affordable price.

Nice, but I thought it was bigger. If I wanted something bigger and better I had to spend over $200. After spending over 4k on my system overall I overlooked the fact that my old dvd player didn’t have HDMI. This does the trick, but I wished there was a better “next tier” before you get to the $200 mark. I have a Sony tv, and that remote doesn’t work with this unit.
