Good quality video, easy to use, simple installation, high quality picture, good sound quality

Better picture quality than previous, RCA-plug only model. Less detail loss when using 2x and 4x magnification option. Plays sound in reduced and increased speed playback, which Blue Ray units normally lack. Great for playback of analog DVDs recorded over the air, and for foreign language subtitled series.

Easy to connect, good DVD picture quality and comes with a remote.

We bought this to replace an older DVD player. The HDMI connection to our TV eliminated 4 cables and a box. The video and sound quality are just as good as the old connections.

This is a nice, small, basic DVD player. I don't have it connected with an HDMI cable and the picture is still great.

This Sony Ultra HD Blue Ray DVD Player is tops. I keep an international player for those DVD. The Sony Ultra HD Blue Ray is my go to player.

Excellent High Definition DVD player, even though we are living in the age of 4K. It's a good price and I have 4K content that I view on my 4K television, but difference is barely noticeable between 1080p and 4K. This DVD player gets the job done and is backed by Sony, which in my opinion puts out the best entertainment products

I like it’s simple and nice. Easy to use plus it’s has a HDMI port which is what I needed.

Only a few months ago I had to purchase a new DVD player to replace my old one broke. I was totally bummed after buying a new TV that the one I just purchased if you months ago would not hook up to the TV because it used the VGA cables. I had to go out and buy a new DVD player that was exclusively HDMI It looks basically like the same one that I bought just a few months ago but this one at least have the HDMI port in the back.
