Couldn't even beat the price and the name brand shopping online. Works great, priced right, and delivery was immediate. It came out of the store with me, receipt in hand.

I would have given 5 stars if the hdmi cord had been included with the DVD player. I had to make a 2nd trip to the store to get started with my DVD viewing. The additional purchase of the hdmi cord made this reasonably priced item a less than perfect purchase.

The remote control is an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this DVD player for anyone who doesn't need/want a bunch of equipment on their TV stand to watch their DVDs, but still expects a quality picture and sound.

Thought I ordered a Blue-ray player. Didn't even notice the mistake when I picked it up at the store. Oh Whale!! Leave it in the box as an heirloom for the Grand Kids! We've had this exact same DVD player in at least 5 bedrooms over the years. They have all worked great. Even out on the Big Rig bumping down the interstates.
