As always Sony products are very good. I wanted a basic DVD player that could be connected to a video projector so that the little ones could have a 'night at the movies.' Time was tight as far as the approaching season and with the promptness of ordering and receiving the player thanks to Best Buy all were satisfied with the enjoyment this purchase. Best Buy has always been my choice for home entertainment.

So far so good. Picture is nice and clear and due to the HDMI cord each to setup.

I bought this DVD player for my spare bedroom that my grandkids use when they come over. I keep most of my DVD in that room and my Blu Rays for my family room. It works out great for me and I love the Sony unit anyways, Sony is all I have in my family room. It gives a great pictures and now I can get the grandkids to bed sooner. I call that a win - win situation !

I purchased this DVD player because I needed for a class I teach at my university. It worked perfectly. It hooked up to the smart board in the room easily and instantly was ready to play any DVD that was inserted. It's also supper light. In fact, it's much lighter than any one book that I bring to class. You can't beat it, especially for the price!

I had to get a new DVD player when I purchased a new Smart TV with HDMI connection. This Sony DVD did the job at a very reasonable price. My previous DVD player was a Sony which I loved so I stuck with Sony. Definitely recommend.

Works flawlessly. Has played all of my non Blue Ray discs without any problems. Does a great job of upconverting regular DVDs. No internet connectivity is a plus as it won't "brick" itself after dubious "updates". Excellent dependable, reasonably priced product from a quality manufacturer.I have put one aside for the future as this simple style of player seems destined for obsolescence.

This player is very easy to operate and the upscaling feature seems to improve the picture.

I just needed a basic DVD player to attach to a TV and this does the job. A little slow in loading the DVD and you have to push the menu button on the remote, instead of this appearing automatically. Could definitely get a superior model if you use the player a lot.

Simple and affordable replacement for rhe person who does not need/have BluRay, this DVD player was a perfect solution.

Purchased this for my grandfather who loves to watch his old school Boston bruins/ hockey fights. His old dvd player from Sony lasted 15 years . He wanted something very simple and easy to use. All I can say he loves it!!!
