This is a great DVD player for my spare bedroom!

I keep most of my DVD in that room and my Blu Rays for my family room. It works out great for me and I love the Sony unit anyways, Sony is all I have in my family room. It gives a great pictures and now I can get the grandkids to bed sooner. I call that a win - win situation !

It hooked up to the smart board in the room easily and instantly was ready to play any DVD that was inserted. It's also supper light. In fact, it's much lighter than any one book that I bring to class. You can't beat it, especially for the price!

Does a great job of upconverting regular DVDs. No internet connectivity is a plus as it won't "brick" itself after dubious "updates". Excellent dependable, reasonably priced product from a quality manufacturer.I have put one aside for the future as this simple style of player seems destined for obsolescence.

I had to make a 2nd trip to Best Buy to make that purchase. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable!
