Needed an inexpensive dvd player that would upgrade my older dvds to play on a newer hd tv and one with an HDMI connection. Does the job perfectly without spending a fortune. Usually stream movies but also like to watch some of the oldies in my collection. Easy to install using an HDMI cable.

Very simple-easy to use player. Overall good picture quality for pre-recorded and computer made disks. A little slow when loading dvd, but must be the Upconversion working. For the price and features, this is a good little unit .....

This DVD player is nothing fancy but it’s great for what I wanted it for. It’s very easy to set up & use. It’s small in size & weight so I can put it just about anywhere. It’s also reasonably priced.

Primary use is for playing music cds and dvds. Great little unit, and received it within 3 days. It performs nicely and a great price too !

Haven't used it much but worked well for showing movies. Nice size. Easy to hook up

My old DVD player had stopped working. This unit was compact and has more modern features compatible with HD LCD wide screen tv. Easy to use, performs well and a good price.

Only owned for two weeks, but so far so good. Bought for my mom's room which has a 32" 720p tv. Great picture to begin with, but great with the upscaling. Easy to set up and use. Great product and price. Would highly recommend.

Had to replace an old DVD player. This unit had a good price & was easy to set up. It is smaller than my old unit & takes up less space. It is also easy to operate.

This DVD player is very simple to set up and work. The remote is self explanatory and because it is a Sony product I have confidence in it's quality.

Easy installation, great picture...lack of display is a problem as you can't even tell if it's on from several feet away and no indication of where you are in the video.

I use it to play dvds in the classroom. The picture is clear and the remote is simple. Hook up is quick and the size is perfect to carry around.

Easy for my 80+-year-old mother to use! Now she can enjoy DVDs from the library that she can't find on Netflix! Discs load quickly and the remote is straightforward. Minimal learning curve. Small profile allowed unit to fit right under TV.

The visual and audio quality is just okay. Even with DVDs from 2016, it isn’t as clear as I had hoped. It plays smoothly, and is high quality in all other aspects. I chose use my own HDMI cord and it is better than the Av cables. Good enough for some nostalgia, I’m sure I’ll get used to it. Eveything is 4k now, and my DVDs are not, so could be that I suppose. I don’t have anything higher quality to test.

Great little DVD player to use with the TV in my living room. Easy to hook up and use. It does not take up much room and is very low profile.
