While I needed the assistance of someone to hook everything together so I could watch a movie, It works great, love the picture on my new big screen TV

My cable went out and in a desperate move to add some entertainment to our evening we bought this DVD player. At first it was just to watch something that night but when we pulled out all the movies we had stored I realized I had missed watching a lot of them. So we kept the player and so far it has worked perfectly.

Nice picture quality with hdmi output. Easy setup.

Just perfect for my needs. Only needed it as a CD player and this allowed me to use HDMI to plug straight into my sound bar, I cant speak to the specs playback or quality as a DVD player.

There is nothing special about this device. It is small and it performs well.

This DVD Player Was on Sale and I was in need of a new dvd player and just as I expected from Sony this product was amazing. Overall good dvd player and price is reasonable.

I would recommend this product. It’s a little heavy on plastic components but it’s a sound basic dvd player.

Best picture quality I've ever seen for a dvd player, far superior video and audio then streaming movies.

This DVD player has all the right features, and is simple to use. Changing over from another player to this one is no problem as they are all similar. The picture is much better than our old player from a lesser company, and is unbeatable for the price.

This is compact and creates a beautiful picture. I can play my DVD’s again!

vwery easy to install and load and use I like that if you stop or turn it off it saves the place that you were when you stopped most cd players go back to the begining when yoou do this

I bought this player because I had been pleased with an earlier version of the same model, which no longer worked, and Sony has been a reliable manufacturer. I am generally pleased but will note that there are a lot of cheaper DVD models that are all region, while this is only region 1. There was an unwelcome change when using the remote. My previous player would display both the elapsed playing time and the time remaining with a single tough of the display button on the remote; for some reason, the new version no longer displays the remaining time. On some DVD's I can check the remaining time by using the time/text button, but that varies depending on the DVD, and it takes 4 touches on the button to display the elapsed and remaining time on each scene as well as for the total disk.

Easy set up. Works great! I always buy Sony products when possible.

I bought this DVD because it has a 3 port AV connection in addition to the hdmi. It works well. The remote is a nice size and easy to use. I like that the rewind function can be faster than on any other DVD player I have owned. This is a nice reasonableness priced machine.
