Replaced PHILIPS DVP3680

Ok for the price.

Sony products have been reliable in the past for me. This model has HDMI and composite connections but no component. Works fine but takes VERY long to load and start playing. Bottom line is for the price it is ok.

As a DVD player, it works.

Progressive scan function is appreciated. HDMI connectivity makes things that much easier. 1080p Upscaling is clear. Audio signals are unscathed when transmitted between receivers.

This unit fits the bill, plug it in, attach the HDMI and your are set to watch your movies or dvd's. Great price and the store had it available for store pickup the next day!

Video looks fine on 4K tv via HDMI. Buttons on device must be pressed VERY firmly and start up seems slow. Purchase and safe pickup at Best Buy was fast as usual.
