Our really old DVD player went out and we wanted something inexpensive to replace it. This was perfect and we were surprised at how much better the pu tire quality was from our old one.

This Sony is a replacement for my previous Sony. It has all the of the disc control features except for the play clock on the front of my previous Sony DVD player. One downside is that there is not a lot of connections on the DVP-SR510H. No component and optical. Just line out, coaxial and HDMI.

This was a great quality and price. I would reccomd this brand and buying at Best Buy for all electronics.

If you are like me, and just want your device to perform one thing, and do it well, this is your DVD player. I'm a little tired of every device I own having ten other functions I do not need, because every other device I own performs those same ten functions.

I haven’t given up my dvd’s yet. I didn’t want to buy or rent some of my favorite movies. This is perfect. I can even travel with it. Was great for a road trip with grandkids

This is exactly what I was looking for. My grandmother wanted a DVD player that would "show a good picture" without being complicated. The SMART players can be very confusing, so BluRay was out. This was the perfect option. She's happy. It's easy to use.

I purchased this DVD to use with my bedroom TV. It works great. The visual quality is good an makes a good picture on my TV.

This DVD player is perfect for the spare bedroom without the need for cable hook-up. The grandchildren l9ve that they can watch their favorite movies in bed!

Overall, a good product. I found it tedious to find a decent HDMI product. Only, because of location where the HDMI cord is to be connected

I purchased a new Sony HD TV and needed a small DVD player to go with it. I've been so pleased with Sony products that I just looked for a player that matched the TV. So far, everything is going great and I'm enjoying watching movies with my new DVD player.

Our Grandson is autistic and we bought it to replace an old one that no longer worked. He learned to operate it very quickly since ease of use is great. Another Sony product that is awesome.

I needed a basic DVD player that had the right jacks to match up to my current TV as well as an HDMI jack for my future TV. This met that requirement and performs well (like all my other Sony products).

[Employee of bestbuy] Got this for my grandma, works as it should and she gets to enjoy her old tv shows I get her on DVD.

I bought this because it was SONY and it's dvd-r compatible. Had some burnt dvd's and this player will read and download them. Comes with batteries for the remote. Does not come with hdmi cable, which is disappointing.
