Great little DVD player. I haven't used all the functions but setup was a piece of cake. I had to use the volume button trick to get the source screen off the TV, but easy and all good.

very simple and easy to use. would be nice if there was a similar simplistic multi disc changer rather than just this single disc in the same price and performance range

we purchased this unit for viewing home made videos that were transferred from 8mm movies to cd. It was easy to set up, clear instructions, and performed well.

As with most all Sony products a quality product. Very good picture and sound. One of the few DVD players that still has composite hook ups for older non HDMI TV's

plugged it in, works like charm, no hassle. smooth

I wanted a Blu-Ray player but the store did not have any, so I settled for the DVD. I am using it for Airbnb space, so I guess blu-ray is not that important. The price was certainly right.

The SONY DVD player for watching movies is good.Setup was easy and connections were straight forward. Recommend for anyone wanting a simple and inexpensive dvd player.

Bought this DVD player as a backup unit and have been using it more often that I thought I would. Great player for the everyday DVD playback with a superb picture quality. For the price you can't go wrong. Two thumbs up for this.

For the price, this is a great DVD player. Plays all the DVD formats. Has a lot of features that all work smoothly. Yes it does a fantastic job of "up-converting" videos to 1080P.

I am currently living in an apartment while waiting for my home to be rebuilt from Hurricane Sandy. I packed up my Home Theatre system and needed something so I could watch movies. This works wonderful, clear, no problems.

Great little machine! I can now watch my DVDs!! And the Geek Squad hooked it up for me! : ))

This DVD player was just what we wanted. It is a great addition to our guest room at a great price. Now our visiting family members are able to watch DVDs while relaxing before they turn in for the night.

When i purchased this DVD player, I was looking to save as much money as I possibly could. The player that I purchased was an open box player, that since purchasing it, has worked beautifully.

Sony makes great products, you don’t even need to purchase a protection plan. Easy set up & great price. Excellent picture quality too.

Had it for a few weeks, I use it daily, works awesome. I love it.

I bought this because my daughter got me a dvd for Christmas and I can't find the power cord for the dvd player I currently have. There is nothing special with this unit but it plays dvds like it is supposed to. It feels a bit cheap like it is going to break but so far so good. If you are looking for a no-frills dvd player this one should work for you.

After frustratingly going through 3 other DVD players with HD up conversion of lower quality (refurbished, used, cheap brand) in a short period, this one has done the job and not had any issues.
