Product work for portable setup

When equipment necessary for playing DVDs are not available. So far, have not had to use for this intented purpose yet. Product is small and is the reason of purchase.

Great dvd/blu ray player for the price

Works fine, but could be better

I'm not sure what's happening functionally but there is a significant delay when pressing the buttons on the actual device (as opposed to pressing buttons on the remote control). If I press on the open/close button, it's takes a long time to eject, and I'm talking 80s-90s era computer disc drives slow. I don't know why, cause if I use the remote it's pretty normal on how quickly it ejects. First world problems. It's good for the price, and it's exactly what I needed to get a replacement ASAP when the last DVD player died.
