    This player is a great choice for price and function. Just remember no blueray. However, the 1080p upconversion makes my shi*y bootleg Dvd's look almost legit. I'm satisfied and HAPPY!!!

    Player does a great job up-converting regular DVDs. Had a slight problem figuring out audio compatibility with a sound system, but the Sony Customer Service group was very helpful resolving this issue.

    My new tv only had ports for hdmi and my old player had no hdmi connections, hence the purchase. It was very straight forward to hook up and it works perfect.
