    Purchased for use on a 1080p TV, great picture, Sony quality. A bit spendy for a DVD player, as you can get a Sony BluRay player for the same price.

    The unit is pretty basic but just what I was looking for. I unpacked it and plugged in the jacks. Dropped in some batteries, clicked on the power, picked a movie and hit play.

    The affordable price and Sony name sold me on the item. Picked up at store and added am HDMI cable and it took me less than 5 minutes to set up and I was watching a DVD!

    We were looking for an inexpensive DVD player while our WiFi was inoperable. This fit the bill perfectly. Picture quality is very good and it is an easy install. Basic operation is a breeze. I would buy again.
