Sony CD and DVD players all fail after a few years. Not really well made, frankly. But this little DVD player fit in a tight space and was simple to install. Right on schedule the old one's tray ejector motor began to die. This new one should last about 2 years as well but right now, works perfectly.

Good basic dvd player for the price. runs well, decent picture, good controls.

The design is simple and easy to use. It served the purpose for a great price. I only use it to play DVDs. I think it probably does more than plays DVDS but I have not tried any other features. My other player had an indicator that let me know how many minutes had passed and what time it was. This has neither, it is very simple but I am pleased with it.

Small and slender, which is a plus. Displays a good picture. Reasonable price for the brand.

Just what was needed for an older couple to view DVDs in their apartment - easy to set up - good quality - small footprint

easy to set up and use although i did have to return for additional cable not included although included in the setup instructions

I like this DVD player a lot. With the HDMI connection it was a snap to set up and start using immediately. I was looking for something cheap - I don't watch a lot of DVDs - and this fit the bill. It's really compact and light so I'm sure it would fit pretty much anywhere. The picture quality isn't great, but then again you can't really complain too much for under $50. It plays DVDs - that's what I bought it for. Highly recommend this unit if you don't want to spend a lot of money.

It's been wonderful having the chance to watch old movies again that I haven't been able to find on streaming anywhere! I do wish it could play Blu-ray, but it's still lovely regardless.

Works well a vary inexpensive player if all you want play dvd i put grandkids room my wife also has one linked right up to her remote on sony tv overall want cheap dvd player its great for price now your at 1080 if you have 4k tv you may want to get higher end but you get what you pay for the unit small which is great the only thing i dont like on button lights hard to see during the day

Only issue is the buttons on the device don't seem to work efficiently. Better response with the remote.

It's light, small, easy to setup and easy to use. Money well spent if your looking for a basic DVD player!

Easy to use and has a good picture play a lot of movies and no problem

My Blu-Ray player has been acting up playing regular dvds which are what I purchase and watch the most. I decided to buy a regular dvd player to see if that solved the problem, and this player plays dvds my blu-ray stutters through. I can honestly see an improvement in the picture quality of my dvds on my 43" HD TV.

I bought this item for my dad for a Christmas gift, he loves it and how it enhances to sound of his stereo system, easy to hook up wiring and touch controls and easy access to use

Perfect...simple sleek by design and plays the DVD's beautifully. Up conversion for older DVD's to crisp clear resolution. Easy to operate and install. I had a question and texted Best Buy advisor, he gladly assisted me with additional required cable... A+ for customer service. Happy customer !

Great size, nice remote, like that it us HDMI or component video cables. No HDMI cable included. Seems like a decent player. I have it as a back up.

Bought this to replace my Toshiba DVD that JUST RECENTLY died after DECADES! I did not see any Toshiba DVD players, only LG, Panasonic, a couple other brands, and Sony. I went with Sony based on Brand Recognition and Reputation. So far so good. Player is quiet, nice picture and sound, and takes up very little space. I still have a lot of DVDs, hopefully this will last a good while.
