Pairs great with my smart TV. The salesperson helped me making a good decision with my purchase of it. He was very knowledgeable.

This DVD player has an HDMI output, and also actual buttons on the front of the unit so you can still use it if you lose the remote. Two must have features in my opinion, and still at a good price.

This DVD player replaced a 4 plus year old Sony dvd player. I bought another Sony device per its reliability. This is a basic unit; I do not need all the latest options. This DVD player meets my needs, without any doubts, nor any issues.

Took the chance of buying open box because it was cheap and my school district kept promising me a DVD player for the past two years but never got me one. The price was great since I was using my own money. I planned to use this in my classroom for DVD media I own that cannot be found on any streaming services. The first one I bought was described as having an HDMI port but it did not. I returned it and purchased this one. Screen says “DVD cannot be played” no matter what I tried to do with it. I tried Googling fixes, trying different DVDs, resetting it and nothing. When I brought it back I was informed it was past the return date…but if I was a Best Buy Club member then maybe they could have done something. I went to the Geek Squad counter and they told me they “don’t do DVD players” and that I have to contact Sony. This particular player was purchased in November. I didn’t try to use it until after the winter break. Now I am stuck with a piece of equipment that never worked. How are they even allowed to sell something that: 1. isn’t the product that is described and 2. doesn’t even work? I have been a Best Buy credit card holder for several years but this has made me decide to cancel my card.

This is a basic model, with HDMI output making connection simple with nearly any television. We have two of these, and they work just fine. My only complaint is the loss of the front panel display to show elapsed time.

I wanted a clean look, so I had to hide my DVD player sideways behind the flat screen which is mounted to the wall. I wish it would have come with an HDMI cable, those things are expensive (almost more than the player itself).

It's ok, purchased just to play my mp3 cd's. Wish it had onscreen display to show tracks . Much smaller than the one I replaced.

I was so lucky to find this DVD player. I had one previously for about 10 years and it stopped working and I had to replace it.

Nice unit. Nice price. Delivery from Best Buy exceeded my expectations. My only complaint is that the power on/off indicator light is so tiny you can barely detect it from even a short distance.

Needed a decent priced DVD player for guest bedroom. This one is very basic but does the trick. Would not recommend for in high end setup.

I'm happy with my Sony, sales rep. was very helpful. Tried to sell me Blue Ray, I told him I wasn't interested and I just wanted a reg DVD player, he showed me 2 of the top brands, and helped me with my choice. But I am a Sony man

This is a great CD player. I needed this to play some of my family’s favorite moments.

Small, compact, does its function. Have to use remote because the buttons on the player is difficult to press. Pictures are the same as regular dvd player.

I bought this for the kids to watch their DVDs. Seems sturdy enough to withstand their treatment and easy to operate.

unit is as described and works great, there are no problems with it, amnd works with my smart tv

Thanks to my installers: Seth and Beau, they instructed me to how to use my new DVD player, and connected it so that I could use my existing remote.

Haven’t hsd one in years and so the DvD’s were getting Dusty’s.
