I bought this to replace another DVD player that finally broke. This one is much better and boots up faster than some of the others. That is one thing I really like about this DVD player.

I would not recommend this purchase. It was brand new and was defective. I contacted Sony and after much discussion and technical instructions, they agreed to send me a new one. The new one works perfectly fine. Very compact. I gave a fair rating based on the fact that they did replace it.

I bought this DVD player in 2016. It is still working in 2021. Through the past 5 years I have had no problems with it.

Had to think it through. It works but the DVD I wanted to watch was not the best reason for the purchase. I hope to get a better DVD later.

Lets us connect to our HDMI projector and audio in the stereo for our little home theater.

I went in looking for a cheap DVD Player to use in one of my guest bedrooms. It was going to be used every so often, so I just needed it to be functional. Sony makes a great product and this one is no different.

I purchased this for my Mom. She is able to use this without a challenge.I purchased additional cables at the same time thinking it would simplify setup but they weren't needed.

This DVD player works pretty good for the price. Plays cd's. If you're looking for a cd player, here you go. They don't make cd players anymore. No problems so far.

I got this dvd player in order to play movies through my tv since my laptop doesnt come with a cd/dvd drive. It is a basic player that works fine. The remote can be a little fussy and hard to work at first but you learn.

I'm satisfied with the product. I actually own two of the same DVD players. I purchased several DVDs, and I had to return them because it did not perform up to standards. I then decided to purchase another SONY DVD player.

Previous Sony DVD player lasted 15 years. Reviews for this one left me confident this model would also be good. I'm off to a good start. This one played the DVD disc that the older one kept flagging as dirty, and wouldn't play. Great! CD's work well also.

39 inch LCD screen smart TV a leap in technology over my old (circa 2000) tube screen HDTV and fit my existing entertainment center perfectly. Documentation of the APPS kind of light. However, setup was easy.

My new Sony DVD Player plays my DVD movies in HIGH DEFINITION QUALITY. Of all the brand-names of DVD players I have had, Sony is the best one. Thank you, Best Buy.

I tried another DVD player and it was a pain to set up and get to play. This unit was WONDERFUL! Everything I wanted. I whole heartedly recommend.

Was looking for just a DVD player with HDMI output. Didn't need Blu-Ray capabilities, so this fit my needs perfectly. Can't ever go wrong with Sony either...
